About the Role
Are you passionate about making a great first impression and working in office administration? Join our team as a temporary Receptionist, where you will play a critical role in ensuring visitors and callers have a warm and professional welcome to the office. You’ll keep our office running smoothly by juggling a variety of tasks while being the first smile or voice to those that visit or call in.
This is a temporary in-person position requiring the successful candidate to be a member of West Moberly First Nations or a member within the community. The duration of employment is anticipated to be approximately 8-10 weeks, with the possibility of an extension. Key Responsibilities
Provide an efficient,
professional customer service approach to meet all members needs over the phone, by email, and in person
Check answer machine and forward message to appropriate person
Manage concession, order & sell cigarettes to members, and provide required information back to government office in Victoria
Support with the coordination of the newsletter
Support with documentation editing and filing as requested
Order office supplies and equipment for the administrative building

Requirements
Your toolkit includes
Post-secondary education or formal training in Office Administration and/or customer service
At least two years’ experience in previous administration and/or customer service
Entry level skills using a variety of computerized software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite
Clear communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Willingness to step in as needed
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills to balance a variety of tasks
Able to handle confidential information with tact and discretion
Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check
