The Department of Industrial Engineering invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow under the mentorship of Prof. Floris Goerlandt. You will spearhead a project aimed at refining a railway risk model using rigorous analytical techniques. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and carry out validation studies for railway models
• Gather and evaluate data essential for model assessment
• Implement quantitative and uncertainty analysis methodologies




• Innovate models through simulations and algorithm design
• Disseminate findings through academic papers and stakeholder presentations

Requirements:
• Ph.D. in engineering, risk analysis, or relevant discipline
• Strong mathematical and analytical foundations
