As a pilot, your number one priority is to conduct each flight safely, taking into consideration the comfort of each passenger and on-time performance.Personal CharacteristicsMust be fluent in EnglishHighly versatile, with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environmentProfessional and respectful,

unload and secure cargo/freight as requiredComplete flight watch jointly with the flight dispatcher (Type B 705 operation)Complete all post flight duties, including notification/confirmation to the Company of the whereabouts of the airplane when away from base, recording flight times and any defectsContinue to meet and exceed the Transport Canada Qualification standards for a PilotPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum Education, Experience and CertificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalentMust be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizationsCategory 1 MedicalCurrent Group 1 Instrument RatingAirline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with 500 hours on DHC-8 is preferredPrevious airline experience is considered an assetPilots must be fluent in English, and be able to demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehensionIndigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an assetWorking ConditionsPhysically able to perform all listed job dutiesTravel by aircraft and other means as required by roleWork performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditionsAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbsMust be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to travel for extended periodsAt Perimeter Aviation, we believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where every employee's contribution takes us to new heights.
