What is the opportunity?This role is responsible for managing and continuously improving GRM TMO governance standards, processes, and execution assurance practices. The Senior Manager will partner with the Director to operationalize governance strategy, embed enterprise requirements, strengthen delivery discipline, and enable consistent execution across GRM initiatives.What will you do?Governance Operations & StandardsOversee development and maintenance of governance templates, checklists, guidance documents, and reference materialsManage the governance process and standards repository, including version control, accessibility, and ongoing currencyLead governance standard review and refresh cycles to ensure continued relevance and effectivenessCoordinate governance enhancement initiatives, including requirements gathering, design, piloting, and implementationSupport the Director in communicating governance updates and changes to senior leadershipEnsure governance documentation is clear, practical, and reflects enterprise expectationsExecution AssuranceLead the health check and delivery assurance program, including methodology development, assessment execution, and findings analysisDevelop governance maturity assessment frameworks and conduct periodic organizational governance assessmentsCollect, synthesize, and analyze governance review findings to identify enterprise-level trends, themes, systemic risks, and improvement opportunitiesPrepare governance assurance reports and executive insights for the Director and senior leadership, with recommendations for enterprise actionRecommend targeted improvements and corrective actions, distinguishing between program-specific issues and enterprise-level governance gapsOversee implementation of governance recommendations and track sustained improvementProvide advisory support to programs requiring governance intervention or coachingEstablish governance metrics and KPIs that measure assurance program effectiveness and governance healthWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveGovernance, Risk & Delivery Expertise7+ years of progressive experience in governance, project/program management, transformation delivery, risk management,



or PMO environmentsStrong understanding of portfolio/program governance, delivery controls, execution risk management, and assurance practicesExperience interpreting enterprise policies, standards, or regulatory requirements and translating them into practical operating processesAbility to identify governance gaps, assess impacts, recommend solutions, and drive sustainable improvementsStakeholder & Advisory SkillsStrong relationship management skills with the ability to influence project teams, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to provide effective challenge while maintaining trusted advisor relationshipsComfortable facilitating discussions, presenting insights, and communicating complex topics clearlyProcess & Continuous ImprovementDemonstrated ability to design, simplify, and improve processes, templates, frameworks, and operating practicesStrong analytical skills with ability to identify themes, trends, risks, and opportunities across multiple initiativesExperience supporting change adoption through communication, training, and practitioner enablementDelivery & Tool KnowledgeKnowledge of waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery methodologiesExperience with portfolio/project management tools (e.G., PlanView, Jira, Confluence, reporting platforms)Strong understanding of data quality, reporting discipline, and governance metricsNice to HaveExperience working within financial services, risk management, regulatory, audit, or control environmentsFamiliarity with RBC Enterprise Delivery Risk Standards, Enterprise Project Delivery Life Cycle (EPDLC) or equivalent enterprise delivery frameworksPMP, Agile, Prosci, Lean,
