You will be instrumental in establishing a Regional Data Centre that empowers Mi'kmaq communities by advancing data governance and infrastructure. Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, budget management, and risk assessment are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the Regional Data Centre initiative
- Advance community-driven data governance practices
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate meetings and document project progress
- Ensure compliance with Indigenous data governance frameworksRequirements:
- Post-secondary education in relevant fields or equivalent experience
- 5+ years managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Solid understanding of Indigenous data sovereignty
