Our client a fast-growing custom furniture manufacturer startup is looking for a Design Lead to join the team!You’ll split your time between leading a small design team (4 people) and running your own client projects. This is a hands-on leadership role, not purely managerial.What you’ll be doing:Leading and scheduling a team of 4 designersManaging your own client projects end-to-endCreating and refining designs in SolidWorksReviewing and approving shop drawingsCollaborating with an offshore production team in AsiaCoordinating with purchasing on electrical and control samplesWhat we’re looking for:Solid background in furniture design and manufacturingSolidWorks proficiency - this is a mustExperience with shop drawing prep and reviewSolid understanding of furniture construction, finishes, and stainsComfortable leading a team while staying hands-on with projects#J-18808-Ljbffr
