Advance child intervention practices with the Ministry of Children and Family Services as a Practice Specialist in the North Region of Alberta. Focus on quality assurance and culturally responsive leadership.

We are seeking a full time Practice Specialist to enhance outcomes for vulnerable children, youth, and families. The ideal candidate will provide coaching and mentorship while implementing provincial priorities. Previous experience in child welfare and a commitment to cultural responsiveness is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead implementation of child intervention initiatives
• Provide coaching and training to strengthen staff practices
• Support complex casework through mentorship




• Act as a subject matter expert on legislation
• Foster collaborative relationships across community partners

Requirements:
• Minimum two years in child intervention or related field
• Knowledge of Child Intervention Practice Framework
• Experience in coaching and mentorship
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle
• Registration with Alberta College of Social Workers
