At CEDA, we seek a motivated Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic for our shop. You will work closely with experienced Journeymen on preventive maintenance and repairs. This role involves diagnosing issues on various equipment like vacuum trucks and skid steers, ensuring safety and efficiency in every task.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and replace defective parts
• Attend service calls occasionally in the field
• Collaborate and learn from Journeyman mechanics

Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and clean abstract
• Class 1 or 3 license is an asset
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
