This role at GMS requires working closely with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and efficient processes. You will assist in month-end closing, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure timely recording of transactions. Engaging with field locations, your focus will be on safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a skilled representative with vendors and stakeholders
• Perform detailed cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support the Accounts Payable function and invoice processing




• Help prepare ad hoc financial reports for analysis
• Facilitate electronic payments via CIBC banking platforms

Requirements:
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Proficient in Excel for financial analysis
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
