Extendicare seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for part time work focused on resident health and wellness. You'll provide direct care, manage medications, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.

In this role, reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness is key. Responsibilities include facilitating care conferences, educating residents and families, and ensuring proper medication administration. You'll also supervise care teams and coordinate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and update resident care assessments
• Facilitate and attend care conferences with families
• Order and administer medication safely




• Ensure proper resident education regarding care
• Act as a coordinator for nursing emergencies in the absence of senior staff

Requirements:
• Active RN registration in relevant Province/State
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care
• Proficient in clinical knowledge and care coordination
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Vulnerable Position Screening (within 6 months)
