As a security qualified, you''ll contribute to the safety and security of students, staff and stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing college policies and procedures, controlling access to site, reporting any hazards or security breaches and responding to incidents.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications: Valid Ontario Security License

Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AEDValid Class G Driver''s License with clean driving record1+ year of tactical security experience and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement

Excellent communication skills

Comfort with two-way radio communication

Approaches situations with a listening mindset and empathy

Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours

Ability to problem solve, and use discretion with good judgement
