The Centre for Sleep & Human Performance (CSHP) is seeking a Family Physician interested in developing their practice in the field of sleep medicine.

This is an prospect to join an established multidisciplinary sleep clinic in Calgary and work alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals experienced in the assessment and management of sleep disorders.

No previous sleep medicine experience is required. Training, mentorship, and clinical support in sleep medicine will be provided. Previous training or experience in sleep medicine is considered an asset.

The Centre for Sleep & Human Performance (CSHP) is seeking a Family Physician interested in developing their practice in the field of sleep medicine.

No previous sleep medicine experience is required. Training, mentorship, and clinical support in sleep medicine will be provided.



Previous training or experience in sleep medicine is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with sleep-related concerns
• Review sleep study results and relevant clinical information
• Develop treatment and follow-up plans
• Collaborate with physicians, sleep technologists, behavioural sleep medicine providers, and other members of the clinical team
• Participate in ongoing education and career development in sleep medicine
  

Qualifications

• Eligible for independent practice with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
• Family Medicine training and certification
• Eligible to bill Alberta Health
• Interest in sleep medicine and developing additional expertise in the field
• Previous training or experience in sleep medicine is an asset, but not required
• Strong communication and collaborative care skills
