We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in preparing competitive and accurate electrical bids.
Responsibilities Receive, organize, and track all incoming tender requests and related documents.
Review tender packages and ensure all necessary drawings, specifications, and addenda are obtained.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Develop and submit tenders within required deadlines.
Maintain a database of tender submissions, pricing, and historical cost information.
Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Collaborate with the project management team to transition awarded projects into execution.




Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in construction or contracting.
Proficiency with Accubid estimating software, as well as Excel.
Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and construction practices.
Experience in estimating both small projects and large-scale contracts.
Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code and relevant regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
