Lead FinOps SpecialistAbout the RoleOpenText is seeking a Lead FinOps Specialist to manage cloud financial operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role exists to improve cloud spend efficiency, strengthen forecasting and budgeting, and support governance in a multi-cloud environment. You will work closely with Development, Finance, FP&A, Procurement, Engineering, Product, and leadership teams to turn cloud usage into actionable financial insight. The goal is to help the business make better decisions on cloud investment, cost allocation, and long-term FinOps maturity.Key ResponsibilitiesLead enterprise-wide initiatives to reduce cloud waste and improve efficiency.Drive rightsizing, storage optimization, and commitment-based savings efforts.Build and maintain cloud spend forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.Partner with FP&A to align cloud spend with financial plans.Implement proactive controls, alerts, and anomaly detection.Design and operate showback and chargeback allocation models.Establish and enforce tagging standards and governance.Define FinOps policies, guardrails, and KPI-based processes.Promote cost-aware practices across engineering and product teams.Deliver dashboards, KPIs, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.Required Skills8–12+ years of FinOps experience for Senior-level consideration, or 12–15+ years for Principal-level consideration.Hands-on experience managing cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.Ability to influence Engineering, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders.Strong understanding of cloud billing constructs and optimization levers.Demonstrated financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting,
