As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Registered Psychiatric Nurseto join our team and help us deliver the Mint experience - thoughtful service, solid collaboration, and care that puts people first.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will play an important part in supporting Mint's commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Delivery of medication :Taking daily medication to the homes of our patients
Clinical Support:Prompt and observe of insulin dosing
Medication Assistance:Assisting with self-administered medication or providing reminders.
Environmental Maintenance:Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy patient rooms.
Reporting:Reporting changes in patient condition, and behavior
Documentation :Documenting visit details using apps on the company phone
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, professionalism, initiative, and care.
The ideal candidate will have:
Education:Graduate of an accredited, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program
Certification: Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with a bachelor's Degree and current practicing registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
Flexible schedule :must be available for 7 am start, and available on weekends
Soft Skills:Strong communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a team.
Drivers License :Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
Criminal Record Check :Completed by us prior to hire
