The Opportunity: We need a Director, Patient Services& Professional Practice, to join oursenior leadershipteam !
In this keyleadership role, you will provide oversight for the Emergency Department, Level2 Intensive Care Unit, Respiratory Therapy, Inpatient Medical and SurgicalServices, Rehabilitation, Quality, and Professional Practice. You will leadhigh-performing teams, foster clinical excellence, and ensure the delivery ofsafe, patient-centred care.

Working closely withphysicians, leaders, and staff across the organization, you will drive keyinitiatives that enhance quality, strengthen professional practice, and supportexceptional patient experience.
With Accreditation 2027 on the horizon and establishingpriorities together for 2026/2027, this role offers the opportunity to make ameaningful impact. A key deliverable inthe coming year will be the development and implementation of a ProfessionalPractice Model.
This role joins a senior leadership team that isengaged in not only supporting today’s patient care and teams but is planningfor Tomorrow’s Hospital.

As a leadership role you willhave flexibility with your schedule, including the option for some remotework to support focused projects and tasks
As the successful applicant you will do the following as the Director:
Collaborate and set thepriorities for patient services including expanding existing services andprograms and meeting or exceeding wait time targets
Support the establishment anddelivery on clinical priorities such as the Quality Improvement Plan
You will join our SeniorLeadership Team to set directions and annual priorities. This will includebeing involved in hearing ideas at Directors Den, supporting operationsand effective delivery of care, and joining the Hospital DevelopmentSteering Committee
Support Regional Partnerships andrelationship building to enhance effective care
Review and determine effectivemodels of care that are financially sustainable while maintaining qualitycare
In collaboration with partners,ensure that all core leadership responsibilities are successfullycompleted including engagement with financial oversight, contractmanagement and performance coaching and management
What You’ll Bring
Required
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
Current registration in good standing with a regulated health profession
Minimum 5 years of applicableclinical experience in an acute care setting
Minimum of 5 years experience ina leadership role
Demonstrated ability to drivequality improvement and program initiatives
Proven ability to influence froma people centered lens with an education focus, data informed decisionmaking to drive strategic priorities
Evidence of a relationshipbuilder leading to effective relationships with physicians, frontlinestaff, and the leadership team
Demonstrated experience insuccessful change management
A desire to mentor and supportthe leaders with an emphasis on just culture, growth and continuouslearning
Preferred
Masters Degree in related field
Experience with significantcapital development
