Growtown Cannabis is a licensed producer just south of Kemptville, ON looking for a full-time Cannabis Production, Shipping & Receiving staff. We are a small but growing team who is seeking a fast learner and a team player as we establish ourselves in the Cannabis industry.

In this position you will primarily roll pre-rolls, package cannabis products, and case finished product for shipments; manage incoming and outgoing shipments including receiving raw materials and shipping finished products; be responsible for material handling, inventory tracking, production reporting and maintain a safe work environment.

As we are a fast moving workplace, initiative and reasonable flexibility will be key for the short term while our team develops.

As we are a secure facility, we do not accept walk-in applications.

Responsibilities :

- Working within the team to produce, package, label, and case cannabis
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies
- Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments of finished products
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
- Clean and maintain your immediate workplace, and participate in facility cleaning activities




- Operate basic devices and machines including but not limited to scales, heat sealers, and shipping equipment
- Cooperate with Quality Control to ensure a clean and safe workplace for you, the team, and the product
- Have a proven track record of possessing a proactive mindset in the areas of safety, quality, productivity and waste reduction - we love new ideas!

Requirements:

- Must be at least 19 years of age or older
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- Manufacturing/production or shipping/receiving experience not required, but is an asset
- Personal protective equipment will be provided (Hair net, beard net, lab coat/scrubs/coveralls, steel toe shoes as areas requires) but personal washable PPE may be substituted upon review
- Able to work a set scheduled shift schedule up to 37.5 hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
