Join the Wetaskiwin Community Health Centre as a Physiotherapist I, providing vital services to children and families. You'll benefit from an interdisciplinary environment with mentorship available.
This part time position involves delivering therapeutic interventions to promote independence among clients with various challenges. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will engage clients and families in their care process, assessing their needs and crafting personalized treatment plans. You’ll also oversee therapy assistants as part of your role in the community-focused health framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Engage with clients and families in rehabilitation processes
• Contribute to interprofessional team dynamics
• Provide mentorship to therapy assistants and students
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited program
• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Valid Driver's License and vehicle necessary
• BLS certification preferred
• Passion for children's health and rehabilitation
