Senior Computer Application Support, Google Cloud - Contract - 19401About the Opportunity Senior Computer Application Support, Google Cloud - Contract - 19401About the Opportunity Our public sector client has a requirement for a Senior Computer Application Support Specialist to support the ongoing governance, sustainment and modernization of an enterprise Google Cloud platform.This is a senior cloud platform role focused on architecture, governance, security, compliance, operational readiness and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work with technical, security and operational stakeholders to strengthen the existing Google Cloud setting and support its continued adoption.Duties include but are not limited to: Review and maintain Google Cloud platform governance, operational status, risks, dependencies and sustainment requirements Assess existing cloud capabilities and identify gaps in processes, documentation,



controls and support models Support security authorization and compliance activities, including control evidence, remediation planning, security posture reporting and Authority to Operate requirements Review cloud security monitoring, audit logging, threat detection, vulnerability management and compliance reporting practices Review network architecture and connectivity, including hybrid networking, DNS, routing, shared services, firewalls and cloud perimeter protection Assess identity and access management practices, including IAM, PAM, role based access controls, privileged access and least privilege principles Support application onboarding, operational readiness, issue management and ongoing platform sustainment Maintain technical procedures, operational documentation, architecture summaries, onboarding materials and knowledge
