As an Activity Aide at Chartwell, you’ll have the fulfilling role of creating meaningful experiences that support the well-being of our residents. Your creativity, compassion, and energy will help shape a vibrant community that supports residents' wellness across all dimensions.

What You’ll Do

- Help plan and deliver programs that support all dimensions of wellness
- Encourage residents to take part in daily activities and special events
- Monitor and record participation and engagement levels

- Support a safe, welcoming, and inclusive activity space
- Prepare and share calendars, posters, and newsletters for programs

What You’ll Bring
- Previous customer service experience; working with seniors is a strong asset

- Post-secondary education in recreation, gerontology, social work, or equivalent experience
- Robust communication,



collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized; detail-oriented; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Additional Requirements

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Physical ability to assist with standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
- Clear Criminal Background Check, VSS and TB Test where required
