The Banquet Server advises guests, takes orders, and serves food and beverages during events.

The Banquet

Server will set up the room prior to the event and teardown the room post event. More broadly, they work closely with other members of the banquet team to provide guests with an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities Plated, Buffet and Reception Service – event specific service execution

Properly set up the room before service begins;

Serve ordered food and beverages on time - Advise guests and take orders;

Guest Support - Respond to all guest requests, check on guest satisfaction whenever possible;

Assist the manager with billing and payment once the meal is completed;

Clearing & Evet Reset/Turnover - Ensure the cleanliness of their work area, the dining room, and restrooms before, during and after event,



supporting bar setup/teardown when required;

Perform any other related duties necessary to ensure the smooth operation of service.

Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of banquet experience;

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and perform banquet setup and breakdown duties

Excellent customer service skills;

Solid interest in teamwork;

Ability to work under pressure;

Good organizational skills;

Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends;

Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written.
