Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the operations and maintenance team of our client.

This individual will respond to work orders, troubleshoot equipment failures, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial mechanical and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, safety-focused technician with strong experience maintaining HVAC systems, air compressors, chillers, boilers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Respond to work orders and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures.
-Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial facility and production equipment.
-Troubleshoot HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, air compressors, air dryers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, cranes, and robotics.
-Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, control systems, PLCs, and related components.
-Perform lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, equipment alignments, and scheduled inspections.
-Troubleshoot and repair heat-exchange equipment, plumbing systems, and hydraulic hoses.
-Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
-Safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, aerial lifts, and scissor lifts.
-Utilize safe rigging and lifting techniques.
-Document maintenance activities and close work orders through the CMMS.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience within industrial HVAC, mechanical equipment repair, machine repair, automotive repair, or a comparable trade.
-Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V, 3-phase systems and industrial control systems.
-Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing air compressors, air dryers, and HVAC systems in a production or industrial environment.
-Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial mechanical equipment, including: Pumps and motors, Bearings and gearboxes, Compressors and chillers, Boilers and air handlers, Blowers, supply fans, and exhaust fans, Pneumatic and hydraulic systems, Conveyor and coolant systems, -Millwright certification.
-Associate degree or trade school certification in Industrial -Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, or a related field.
-Experience troubleshooting large commercial or industrial HVAC/R equipment.
-Experience with vacuum systems and RO/DI water systems.
-Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience, including Allen-Bradley PLC-5, PLC-500, or RSLogix 5000.
-Welding and fabrication experience.
-Experience performing plumbing and hydraulic hose repairs.
-Precision alignment and machine-timing experience.
-Experience using micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
-Predictive maintenance experience using vibration analysis, ultrasound testing, or other condition-monitoring methods.
-Experience leading or supervising maintenance technicians.
-Forklift, crane, hoist, or rigging experience.
