The Senior Director, Performance Marketing Canada will provide strategic leadership for Sage Canada's Performance Marketing function, ensuring alignment to global go-to-market priorities while addressing the unique needs of the Canadian market.
This role will be accountable for driving demand generation and pipeline growth while serving as the primary bridge between Marketing, Sales, Partner Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure marketing investments translate into measurable business outcomes.
Regional Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute the Canada Performance Marketing strategy aligned to global business objectives and GTM priorities.
• Own annual and quarterly planning, investment allocation, and performance forecasting across Canada.
• Translate global strategies into localized execution plans that address Canadian market opportunities and customer segments.
• Identify growth opportunities across key industries and customer segments.
ABX & Microvertical Leadership
• Lead the rollout and adoption of ABX strategies within Canada.
• Partner with Routes-to-Revenue and Rev
Ops to develop industry-specific go-to-market plans.
• Ensure successful commercialization of microvertical offerings through coordinated marketing programs.
• Establish performance measures and adoption benchmarks.
Demand Generation & Revenue Growth
• Own pipeline generation, marketing-sourced revenue, and customer acquisition outcomes for Canada.
• Optimize investment across channel mix to maximize ROI, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.
• Drive continuous improvement in funnel performance from inquiry through prospect creation and closed revenue.
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the senior marketing partner to Canadian Sales leadership.
• Align marketing priorities with sales objectives, territory plans, and pipeline requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Partner Marketing to maximize partner-sourced demand and revenue contribution.
• Work with Marketing Operations and Analytics teams to improve measurement, reporting, attribution, and forecasting.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of performance marketing professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Build organizational capability in modern demand generation, account-based marketing, and AI-enabled marketing strategies.
• Act as a key member of the North America Marketing Leadership Team.

• Funnel conversion performance (MQL, QDC, SQO, Opportunity)
• Customer expansion metrics
• ABX and microvertical adoption and pipeline generation

Required Experience & Qualifications
• 10+ years of B2B enterprise software or technology marketing experience.
• 5+ years leading regional or national demand generation and performance marketing organizations.
• Proven track record delivering measurable pipeline, revenue, and customer growth outcomes.
• Experience partnering with senior sales leaders and managing cross-functional GTM initiatives.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, ABM/ABX, partner marketing, lifecycle marketing, and marketing analytics.
• Experience leading large-scale strategic programs and market launches.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting outcomes, and optimizing marketing investments.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.
Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.
For this role, in those locations, the target base salary range for new hires is CAD 205,000 to CAD 250,000.
In addition to base salary, employees will participate in a bonus plan (15%) based on company and individual performance.
