**In this role, you will**
Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git

Hub Actions
Create reusable and scalable Git

Hub workflow templates for build, test, deployment and release automation
Develop automation solutions using Python scripting for operational tasks, infrastructure management and Dev

Ops workflows
Integrate Git

Hub with external tools and platforms through APIs and automation frameworks
Implement branch management, code quality gates, security scanning and deployment governance within CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot and optimize build and deployment process to improve reliability and performance
Manage and maintain Git

Hub repositories, permissions, secrets, and workflow configurations
Ensure adherence to Dev

SecOps, security, compliance and operational standards
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and automation guidelines

**Secondary Skills:**
Experience with cloud platform such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Knowledge of infrastructure as Code (terraform, ARM, Cloud Formation, etc.)
Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployment
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Understanding of security best practices in CI/CD and Dev

SecOps
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology, Engineering or a related field
4+ YOE in
**Dev

Ops, CI/CD or platform Engineering roles**
Proven experience implementing enterprise scale automation using
**Git

Hub Actions and Python**
**Preferred Experience:**
Git

Hub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) environment experience




Workflow orchestration and reusable workflow frameworks
Repository migration and automation projects
Enterprise Dev

Ops transformation initiatives
Dev

SecOps and platform engineering environments

Python automation frameworks
Terraform certification or cloud certifications (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Experience with Sonar

**_Total compensation_**
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates.

The base salary for this position ranges between
**_$49,000 – $95,500 (CAD) per year._**
Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
