**Role Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Software QA Team Lead to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing quality assurance team supporting software development projects in the mobile or automotive space.
This individual will play a critical role in driving quality strategy, improving test processes, supporting team growth, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
Build, lead, and mentor an effective QA team to support project delivery and ensure high standards of software quality
Manage team capacity and resources efficiently to meet project timelines and quality goals
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members
Lead the team on including AI in their day-to-day work
Manage test automation strategies, leverage available tools and track to meet annual goals
Maintain automated test scripts
Support hiring efforts and contribute to the acquisition of new talent
Define test strategies and test plans aligned to software development plans and project requirements
Partner with the team to design detailed test cases and establish appropriate test environments
Prepare test reports, perform initial issue analysis, and contribute to defect prevention activities
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies
Collaborate cross-functionally within Agile or Scrum-based development teams
**Required Skills and Experience**
10+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience in the mobile or automotive industry
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required
3+ years of experience testing Android-based software
3+ years of experience in a leadership capacity such as Scrum Lead, Product Owner, or Team Lead
Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, best practices, and tools
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework and Appium
Programming experience in languages such as Python and Java
Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile software development processes
Knowledge of connectivity technologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience with vehicle communication network protocols such as CAN and Ethernet
Advanced degrees and relevant certifications

**Compensation**
The salary range for this role is $111,700.00 to $167,600.00.
The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
