Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Azure Security Engineer to support an Azure-to-Azure cloud migration for a major financial services client.
This individual will assess existing cloud environments, interpret security standards, validate configurations, and produce security-focused design documentation to support migration efforts.
Responsibilities
• Assess Azure environments and review security configurations.
• Interpret client security standards, policies, and architecture patterns.
• Identify security gaps and recommend remediation strategies.
• Create low-level security design and migration documentation.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Support security gates, governance reviews, and migration activities.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders.
Contribute to Dev
SecOps initiatives and Git
Hub Enterprise workflows.

Skills and Requirements
• 5+ years of Azure Security Engineering experience.
• Deep hands-on expertise with:
○ Microsoft Defender for Cloud
○ Microsoft Entra ID
○ Azure Policies
○ RBAC / IAM
○ Key Vault
○ Cloud Security Posture Management
• Experience supporting cloud migration initiatives.
• Financial services background
• Strong Terraform experience.
• Experience creating security design documents and architecture deliverables.
• Understanding of Dev
SecOps principles and CI/CD security practices.
• Git
Hub Enterprise experience.
AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer Associate), CISSP, CCSP
