**Project Horizon**
In 2015, Sick

Kids launched Project Horizon, a long-term plan for the renewal of the Sick

Kids campus and the foundation for an integrated and seamless paediatric healthcare system.

Project Horizon is a multi-year, phased redevelopment initiative designed to transform the delivery of paediatric care, address future growth requirements, and replace aging infrastructure.

Through strategic investments in facilities, technology, and new models of care, Project Horizon will help ensure Sick

Kids can continue to deliver world-class, specialized paediatric care for generations to come.

Following completion of the Patient Support Centre (PSC), Project Horizon continues to advance a multi-phased redevelopment strategy that includes new construction, major renovations, infrastructure renewal, and operational transformation initiatives across the Sick

Kids campus.

Current priorities include the Ambulatory Care Tower (ACT), prioritized Early Works projects, operational readiness planning, and activities supporting future phases of redevelopment.

The construction and renovation of these facilities represent only one aspect of the transformation.

Project Horizon is also focused on advancing new models of care, enhancing operational effectiveness, enabling innovation through technology, and fostering meaningful engagement with patients, families, staff, physicians, learners, researchers, and partners.

**Position Description**
Project Horizon is seeking a Project Coordinator, Clinical Reinvention Team (CRT), to support clinical planning, operational readiness, activation, and transition planning activities across redevelopment initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, Clinical Reinvention, the successful candidate will provide coordination support to the Clinical Reinvention Team, including Project Managers and clinical leaders responsible for planning and implementation activities across Project Horizon initiatives.

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling, documentation, information management, reporting, governance support, tracker maintenance, and cross-functional coordination.

The successful candidate will work closely with CRT Project Managers, project leadership, consultants, subject matter experts, and project partners across Sick

Kids to support the successful delivery of redevelopment initiatives.
**Here's what you'll get to do**
Coordinate and schedule planning meetings, user-group sessions, workshops, readiness activities, simulations, and project-related meetings across Project Horizon initiatives.

Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, action items, decision logs, and meeting materials, and follow up on outstanding actions.

Maintain document management systems, Share

Point sites, trackers, and reporting tools in alignment with Project Horizon and PCIO standards.

Support version control, filing structures, naming conventions, permissions management, and document organization.

Maintain project workplans, status trackers, action logs, readiness trackers, and consolidated reporting tools.

Support maintenance of risk registers, issue logs, decision logs, and change tracking documentation.

Compile and coordinate inputs for leadership reports, dashboards, governance presentations, and project status updates.

Coordinate operational readiness and transition planning activities, including readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement sessions, training logistics, simulation activities, and implementation planning support.

Coordinate reviews and collection of information from stakeholders to support planning, design development, readiness, and implementation activities.

Maintain effective working relationships with consultants, contractors, project partners, subject matter experts, clinicians, and hospital leadership.

Act as a coordination resource across CRT, Delivery Project Managers, PCIO, IMT, FF&E;, Facilities, Supply Chain, Finance, and operational stakeholders.

Support procurement, consultant onboarding, contract administration activities, and coordination of project deliverables where required.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding deliverables, decisions, risks, and action items to support project progression.

Support quality assurance and consistency of project documentation and reporting.

Other duties as required to support Project Horizon objectives and priorities.
**Here's what you'll need**
A post-secondary degree or diploma from a recognized university or college.
A minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare redevelopment, capital planning, healthcare project coordination, operational readiness,



or related project environments.

Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within high-performing teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and coordinate across diverse stakeholder groups.

Proficiency with project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Share

Point, dashboards, workplan tracking, risk and issue management systems, and reporting tools.

Demonstrated commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion objectives.

Experience supporting operational readiness, healthcare transition, activation planning, or healthcare redevelopment initiatives is an asset.

Knowledge of healthcare capital redevelopment processes and the Ministry of Health capital planning framework is an asset.
