Brunel is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Materials Management Advisor to join our oil and gas client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing materials management operations to ensure productive flow of materials to our offshore facilities.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate demand and release of materials in SAPCoordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and productsMonitor and analyze materials management performance metrics to identify areas for improvementManage relationship with warehouse staff to ensure process and procedures are metEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policiesPrepare and present reports on materials management activitiesCollaborate with key stakeholders to ensure material requirements meet business objectivesIdentify and implement best practices in materials managementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business would be considered an assetMinimum of 5+ years of experience in materials managementStrong knowledge of materials management standards and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in using materials management software and ERP systems, in particular SAPAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentWhat We OfferWhy work with Brunel?
