The Grounds Machinery Operator position at the University of Guelph is a temporary full time role based in Guelph, Ontario. The incumbent will safely operate light machinery and vehicles across Grounds’ landscape and maintenance operations, with a day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
Reporting to the Grounds department manager, duties include equipment checks, keeping records, and assisting with fence, signage, and furniture installations, with overtime and emergency call-ins possible.
