As a Merchandise Allocation Analyst, you will play a key role in Laura’s success by ensuring our stores have the right merchandise, in the right quantities, at the right time.
Using sales data, inventory levels and our merchandising systems, you will analyze store performance and identify opportunities to maximize sales, margins and inventory productivity.
This is a retail merchandise allocation role focused on sales, assortment and store performance — not a logistics, transportation or warehouse role.
Your Impact Analyze weekly store sales performance and inventory levels and recommend actionable opportunities.
Define the optimal merchandise profile for each store to support financial and commercial objectives.
Allocate new merchandise based on assortment plans, sales trends and store needs.
Monitor style performance and optimize replenishment and inventory balancing.
Identify and execute seasonal merchandise transfers to maximize sales opportunities.
Partner with Planning and Buying to determine optimal quantities and size assortments based on style and store performance.
Contribute to the evolution of assortment strategies for upcoming collections.
Develop and improve analytical tools with cross-functional partners to support decision-making and improve processes.
The people who thrive with us have: Experience in merchandise allocation, merchandise planning or merchandising within a retail workplace — a strong asset.
A solid understanding of sales performance, assortment and store inventory levels.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
The ability to analyze and interpret data and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
A degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field — an asset.
