Environmental Scientist - Site Investigation and RemediationJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist/Engineer to join our Environmental Services team in New Brunswick. Your role will be to work as a key member of our Atlantic Environmental Services team, in a broad range of responsibilities relating to Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), soil and groundwater remediation programs, environmental spill response, and hydrogeological investigations. The successful candidate will work within our Site Investigation, Remediation & Response practice area, in project teams across various sectors. We are seeking driven, talented, and enthusiastic individuals capable of working independently with a keen interest in the environmental field, looking to advance their career in a globally progressive consulting firm.Your Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with team members on environmental investigations and remediation projects based primarily in Atlantic Canada, with opportunities to work in other parts of CanadaExecute a variety of field programs, including, but not limited to, site visits, test pitting, borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, soil vapor surveys, soil and groundwater remediation monitoring, surveying, and sampling of various mediaCarry out office duties such as data management, analysis and interpretation, report preparation, and other general tasksAnalyze field and technical data and author technical reports (Phase I/II/III ESAs, monitoring reports, Remedial Options Analysis (ROA) reports,



Remediation and Risk Management Plans (R/RMPs))Lead and/or support the development of proposals, participate in business development activities, and participate in business community-related activitiesPerform project management support tasks such as cost estimates, budget tracking, and status reportsLearn and follow standard operating procedures for work assigned, while continuing to develop skillsComplete applicable company and client-required health & safety training and follow health & safety policies and proceduresQualificationsHighly organized and self‑motivatedDemonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a teamProven initiative in integrating creativity and innovation in all work tasksDemonstrated knowledge of applicable provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelinesComfortable working on multiple projects concurrently, sometimes reporting to different individualsExperience using environmental field equipment, GIS‑related mobile data collection, and reporting softwareExceptional oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure and within short timelinesProficient with Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams,
