Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (2-3 Days WFO)

Duration: 6-12 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and execute automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright in the trading applications domain. This is a contract QA role focused on hands-on test framework development, test case design, and component-level validation for trading systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10 years in Quality Engineering or Automation Testing
- Solid proficiency with Python for test development
- Experience using Playwright test automation framework
- Hands-on ability to design and write test cases for complex trading applications
- Practical knowledge of SQL for data validation and test logic




- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Experience building testing systems for financial or portfolio platforms
- Familiarity with component isolation and end-to-end pairing of modules
- Exposure to CI/CD integration for test automation

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright
- Design and execute test cases for trading systems
- Collaborate with multi-engineer QA teams on large automation deliveries
