DescriptionWe're looking for a seasoned and forward thinking Electrical Superintendent to help lead our growing Industrial division as we take on a series of major projects across Western Canada. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the safe, effective, and high quality execution of all piping activities while driving field excellence from planning through turnover.As a key site leader, you will champion safety and environmental stewardship, uphold rigorous quality standards, and execute field project plans that keep crews productive, aligned, and on schedule. You'll provide clear direction to field staff, subcontractors, and trades, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.You are a natural problem solver—someone who thrives on tackling complex challenges and bringing innovative, actionable solutions to the field. Your expertise, leadership, and ability to anticipate what's needed next will be instrumental in delivering successful, high performance projects.Join the Ledcor team today!Essential ResponsibilitiesEnsure site safety measures meet or exceed requirements outlined in corporate safety policies and applicable legislationLead and oversee all electrical construction activities including equipment installation, cable tray installation, cable pulling, terminations, grounding, lighting, testing, and turnoverCoordinate manpower, materials, subcontractors, schedules, quality standards, and commissioning activities to support project executionHire, manage, and support hourly employees in collaboration with Construction and Project ManagersSupervise, train, coach, and mentor project team members, including direct and indirect reportsCommunicate effectively with staff, trades, subcontractors, and clients to achieve safety, productivity, quality, and performance objectivesEnsure projects are completed according to approved plans, specifications, building codes, and established quality standardsReview project contracts and subcontracts, identify risks and opportunities, and support financial targets, forecasts,
and profitability goalsDevelop, maintain, and update resource-loaded 30, 60, and 90-day look-ahead schedules while ensuring key milestones and completion dates are achievedLead safety, scheduling, productivity, system turnover, and stakeholder meetings while maintaining project documentation and strong customer relationshipsQualifications3 to 8 years of construction supervision experience on industrial or large-scale construction projectsJourneyperson Electrician certification, post-secondary diploma, or engineering degreePrevious experience as a General Foreperson, Superintendent, or in a similar leadership roleHas experience supervising Electrical General Forepersons, Electrical Forepersons and running at least crews of 50+ electriciansProven track record of maintaining a strong safety culture and working effectively with diverse teamsExperience delivering major industrial construction projects valued at $50M or greaterStrong knowledge of industrial construction methodologies, practices, and advanced workface planning principlesAbility to interpret industrial construction documents and ensure contractual requirements, expectations, and stakeholder interests are clearly defined and protectedComprehensive understanding of construction trades with specialized expertise in electrical construction and installation activitiesExtensive experience planning and executing electrical scopes including temporary power, cable tray installation, cable pulling programs, electrical equipment installation, terminations, testing, and system turnoverManage LOTO programs, oversee budgets and schedules, coordinate multiple project scopes,
