As the Occupational Therapist you will play a vital role in delivering care within a progressive and collaborative atmosphere. We welcome applications from new graduates.Halfway between Vancouver and Whistler, where the Coast Mountains meet the mouth of Howe Sound, Squamish is steeped in adventure and rich with culture. The role can be either employee or an independent contractor and initially will be 2–3 days a week. Travel is required.Your ImpactYou will provide both individual and program‑based treatments and assessments for individuals in long‑term disability, and support veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive and mental wellness goals through the PCVRS (Partners in Canadian Rehab Veterans Services) program. In this role, you will:Evaluate the worker's physical, cognitive, and psychological functions, as well as job demands and workplace environmentManage concussion and return‑to‑function planningPerform clinical evaluations, provide exercises, functional tasks, and cognitive strategies (e.G., pacing, energy conservation) to address injury‑related deficitsTeach techniques like mindfulness, relaxation, and sleep hygiene to manage pain, fatigue, and emotional distressProvide education to the client and employer about the recovery process, the benefits of staying connected to work, and their roles in the planIdentify suitable modified duties,



adapt the work environment, and monitor progress where appropriateRecord assessment and treatment interventions in the client's chartExcel in a collaborative, inter‑disciplinary team environmentExhibit sound professional judgmentAre you the right fit?As one of the largest networks of OTs in the nation, you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high‑quality, client‑centered care across multiple clinics or specific clinic and community settings.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experienceRegistered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in your province1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred; newly licensed graduates are acceptedValid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle may be requiredOther RequirementsClinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to workPassion for your profession and commitment to ongoing skilled developmentSuperior interpersonal relations, communication, problem‑solving, time management,
