Our compounding program allows us to work alongside patients, prescribers and healthcare professionals to create individualized medication solutions when commercially available options don't meet a patient's needs.We're looking for an experienced Compounding Pharmacist who is passionate about personalized medicine and excited by the opportunity to help us take an established compounding service to the next level.You'll have the opportunity to use your compounding expertise, develop formulations, collaborate directly with healthcare professionals, mentor a specialized pharmacy team and help shape the future of Mint's compounding program.If you're an experienced pharmacist who enjoys solving complex medication challenges and wants the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on both patient care and the growth of a specialized pharmacy service, we'd love to meet you.What You'll DoYou'll be a key clinical and technical resource for Mint's non-sterile compounding program.Your work will include:Reviewing and assessing compounded prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, compatibility, stability and patient-specific considerationsPerforming and verifying pharmaceutical calculationsPreparing or overseeing customized compounded medicationsReviewing formulations, ingredients, concentrations, beyond-use dates and finished preparationsInvestigating formulation options for unique or complex prescriptionsProviding patient counselling and follow-up when appropriateEnsuring accurate documentation and compliance with applicable compounding standardsOur compounding services may include:Customized capsules and oral preparationsDermatological creams, ointments, lotions and gelsBio-identical hormone preparationsPediatric formulationsCustomized strengths and dosage formsPreservative-free, dye-free, alcohol-free or other patient-specific formulations where clinically appropriateMedications that are commercially unavailable or discontinuedBe a Trusted Resource for Healthcare ProfessionalsGreat compounding starts with great collaboration.You'll work directly with physicians, nurse practitioners,



pharmacists, clinics and other healthcare professionals to help identify individualized medication solutions for their patients.You'll:Provide guidance regarding formulation options, dosage forms and strengthsCollaborate with prescribers on complex or customized prescriptionsBuild solid professional relationships with healthcare providersEducate healthcare professionals about Mint's compounding capabilitiesSupport community pharmacies that may not have the equipment, capacity or expertise to compound medications themselvesBecome a trusted compounding resource for pharmacists throughout the Mint networkHelp Us GrowWe're looking for someone who doesn't just want to work in a compounding department — we're looking for someone excited to help us build one of the strongest compounding programs we can.You'll have the opportunity to:Help expand awareness of Mint's compounding servicesDevelop relationships with prescribers, clinics, allied healthcare professionals and community pharmaciesIdentify new referral and partnership opportunitiesRecognize underserved patient needs where personalized compounding could make a differenceHelp improve turnaround times, workflow and capacityRecommend equipment, technology or process improvementsContribute ideas about current formulations and servicesHelp determine where investment could allow the department to safely accept more patients and prescriptionsProvide expertise in streamlining compounding operationsDevelopment of compounding practice tools for daily use, training and developmentYou'll work alongside pharmacy and operational leadership,
