Position Summary : Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, and as a member of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the administration of confidential Human Resource functions including all administrative duties for the HR department, recruitment and selection, payroll-related functions, developing and maintaining various reports, and research and correspondence for various HR related activities and projects. Duties and Responsibilities : Act as primary lead for preparing payroll communication forms & updating payroll communication spreadsheet entries for new hires, terminations and changes to employee payroll information Act as primary lead for administering completion and filing of new employee forms with new hires Assist with Recruitment & Selection of new hires for primarily Home Office roles, and may also include background work for Inns North hotels and Co-op management roles.



This may include the following: pre-screening of candidates coordinating and/or conducting preliminary interviews conducting reference checks requesting criminal and credit background checks booking travel following up with candidates regarding the status of their application preparing job offer letters & contract extensions conducting exit interviews with departing employees conducting stay interviews with recent hires within their first three months of employment Administer content updates on the Arctic Hub (internal intranet) which includes drafting and scheduling staff announcements/or updates, maintaining HR files and forms Organize and lead a quarterly group orientation session for new home office staff Perform employee
