Job Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 Days WFO)

Duration: 06-12 Months

Hourly Pay Rate: 53 CAD/hr.

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript. Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-grade applications. Develop robust backend services and data access layers leveraging PostgreSQL. Design secure, reliable, and high-performing cloud solutions on AWS. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making. Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices to improve deployment efficiency. Troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues across environments. Ensure adherence to security, scalability, performance, and coding standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered):

- 5 years of full-stack development experience.
- Solid proficiency in TypeScript and modern application development practices.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, database design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and IAM.




- Experience building and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required):
- Experience with Okta, OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SSO, and authentication/authorization frameworks.
- Solution architecture and system design experience.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing highly available and scalable enterprise solutions.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools.
