We are seeking a highly skilled Modernization Lead to join our team in Toronto. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker with a solid background in banking and financial services, who can effectively bridge business needs with technological solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on banking and financial services
- Proven experience as a Solution and Functional Architect
- Strong skills in obtaining stakeholder commitment and leading project discussions
- At least 3 years of experience in evaluating and selecting modernization strategies
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with modern front-end and server-side rendering frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups
- Assist in the development of strategic plans
- Identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
- Lead change management activities including readiness assessments and stakeholder management
