Introduction

We are seeking an experienced consultant to support enterprise SAP data archiving initiatives. The consultant will work closely with functional and technical teams to assess SAP content repositories, define retention strategies, configure archiving objects, and support testing and documentation activities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities





- Coordinate with functional and technical teams throughout the archiving project lifecycle.
- Capture and assess SAP content repositories for archiving readiness.
- Define retention rules by data object and business area in collaboration with client Business Analysts.
- Establish naming conventions, metadata standards, and indexing strategies for archived data.
- Identify and confirm appropriate SAP archiving objects.
- Configure SAP archiving objects and support implementation activities.
- Assist with testing, validation, and issue resolution during archiving cycles.
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Support knowledge transfer and ensure compliance with organizational data retention policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP archiving solutions.
