About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Industrial Millwright (433A) to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and optimizing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.

This is an excellent prospect for a mechanically minded professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, preventative maintenance, and minimizing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate machinery and production equipment.
- Perform precision alignment of shafts, couplings, bearings, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment.
- Inspect machinery to identify worn, damaged, or failing components and complete necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Repair and replace bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and other mechanical components.
- Perform basic welding, fabrication, machining, and equipment modifications as required.
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment,



and lifting/rigging equipment.
- Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, inspections, and repair records.
- Work closely with production, electricians, operators, and other maintenance personnel to reduce downtime.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate of Qualification.
- Previous experience working as an industrial millwright in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical power transmission.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with precision alignment and measurement equipment is an asset.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or on-call as required.

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
