Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our team. The role will include being responsible for executing high-quality interior finishing work on a multi-family project in Langford, BC. The positions being filled are for sub-contractors to join our crew for a 6 month project starting in October with the chance to continue working beyond on future projects.

Responsibilities

- Understand unit details and drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Installation of trim ( baseboard and casing ), interior doors, suite entry doors, handrail and finish hardware with precision.
- Apply good finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces and professional aesthetics.
- Strong focus on safety and cleanliness. Daily cleans and mandatory use of PPE
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the finishing process to ensure adherence to client specifications.
- Material handling and offloading
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields with a focus on finishing work.
