This position requires every second weekend availability 0700-1500

The LPN reports directly to the Community Leader

Education, Experience and Abilities Educational Qualifications

- Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate Registration to ‘full scope of practice’ with provincial professional association

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provides all the components of nursing care expected of an LPN including ‘hands on’ care as a requirement

2.



Ensures care plans for residents are current, followed and accurately reflect the care needs of the residents. Communicates changes in resident condition and care to appropriate decision makers (guardian, family, agent, resident) and team members, may include physicians

3. Contributes to the supervision of care assignments based on residents’ needs including daily living and restricted activities

5. May assist in monitoring the competence of unregulated staff assigned to carry out the care

6. Monitors and delivers medication according to the ExquisiCare medication processes and procedures

7.. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and under the CLPNA Scope of Practice.

This position requires two weekends a month availability ( Saturday, Sunday every 2 weeks 0700-1500)
