Position: Part-Time Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a part-time Medical Office Assistant to join our team. If you thrive in a dynamic setting and enjoy interacting with patients, we want to hear from you!

Key Qualities We’re Looking For:

- Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and friendly communication with patients and team members.
- Experience with EMR: Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems, particularly OSCAR.
- People-Oriented: Enjoys meeting new people and building rapport with patients.
- Energetic & Friendly: A positive attitude that contributes to our welcoming atmosphere.
- Keen Learner: Open to acquiring new skills and knowledge.
- Attention to Detail: Speed and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Problem Solving: Ability to navigate challenges effectively.
- Good Judgment: Making informed decisions in a medical environment.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.




- Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin fluency preferred for our patient population.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is an asset.
- Formal MOA training certification and references are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Greet and register patients upon arrival.
- Manage office emails and messages from doctors.
- Assist with general administrative duties, including patient intake and office organization.
- Maintain stocked exam rooms and order supplies as needed.
- Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs and preparing rooms for procedures.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
