King's Kids Preschool is seeking a dedicated Director to lead and manage our Preschool/Out of School Care (OSC) program in Airdrie. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood development, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and excel at creating a positive, engaging atmosphere for both children and staff. As a key leader, you will drive program excellence and promote a collaborative team culture that supports growth and innovation.

Duties

- Lead the overall operation of the preschool and OSC programs, ensuring high-quality educational experiences for children:
- Motivate and supervise staff to maintain a skilled and caring team environment
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
- Foster strong relationships with families, providing excellent communication and support to meet their needs
- Working as a team to ensure we keep a high standard of education and care for our students and their families
- Oversee daily program schedules, enrollment processes, and record keeping to ensure smooth operations, which would also include:

o Advertising/Marketing

o Fundraising (working collaboratively with the Parent Fundraising Committee)

o Assist in training new staff & subbing into classrooms and transport as needed





o Lead children in activities (may need to be in ratio at times)

o Help plan and attend field trips

o Lesson prep, room organization and cleaning, and record keeping where required

o Other tasks assigned to you by the owner and as needs arise

Experience

- Proven leadership experience in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, families, licensing authorities, and community partners
- Ability to inspire teams through mentorship and collaborative leadership
- Experience with children with diverse needs an asset
- Knowledge of licensing requirements and health & safety regulations related to preschool/OSC programs

Requirements

- Level 3: Early Childhood Education Certification

-Class 4 Drivers License & Clean Driver's Abstract

-1st Aid & CPR Certification

-Clean criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search

The days and times of employment will be: Monday to Friday between 7:30am-4:30/5:30pm, along with some scheduled evenings for tours/open houses/planned events and/or training.

Pay: $3,800.00-$4,000.00 per month
