Event Sales Representative – Commission Based

The Trent is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Event Sales Representative to help us grow our private party and event business.

This is an independent, commission-based sales opportunity. There is no fixed salary — you earn when you bring in new business.

What You’ll Sell

You will actively find and book new customers for:

- Birthday parties
- Weddings and receptions
- Baby showers
- Retirement parties
- Corporate and office parties
- Christmas parties
- Team and sports parties
- Graduation parties
- Fundraisers
- Family and community events

Compensation

Earn 5%–8% commission on qualified new event sales you generate.

The more business you bring in, the more you earn.

For example:

- $5,000 in recent bookings → $250+ commission
- $10,000 → $500+
- $20,000 → $1,000+
- $30,000 → $1,500+

Commission is paid on eligible revenue actually collected from customers you personally generate.

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who is:

- Confident and comfortable approaching businesses and organizations
- Excellent at communication and follow-up
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfortable making phone calls, emails and in-person visits




- Good at building relationships with local businesses and community organizations
- Sales or event experience is an asset, but results and attitude matter more than experience

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

- Finding new event and party opportunities
- Contacting local businesses and organizations
- Following up with potential customers
- Promoting The Trent's party and event packages
- Building relationships with local companies and community groups
- Bringing qualified leads through to confirmed bookings
- Maintaining a simple record of your leads and sales
