Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Host/Hostess/Expo, where your vibrant personality and exceptional hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. You will also support the kitchen and serving staff by coordinating table service, food presentation, and timely communication between front and back of house. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your customer service expertise while contributing to a lively, fast-paced dining environment.

Duties

- Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide a warm, friendly welcome upon arrival
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food preparation, plating, and timely delivery of orders
- Assist with food presentation and plating as needed, supporting the expo team in maintaining high standards of food quality and appearance
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards




- Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience that encourages repeat visits

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience with food handling, meal preparation, and basic cooking techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order management and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety standards and cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while multitasking effectively
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Prior experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not required
