Qualifications – Ontario Construction Site

- Completed Traffic Control course (required)
- Previous traffic control or construction experience is an asset, but not required
- Candidates with no previous experience are welcome to apply
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in active construction zones
- Start Date: ASAP

- Hours: Full time

Responsibilities:
Traffic Control Personnel are responsible for safely directing and controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic at construction sites and work zones. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Direct traffic safely through construction zones using appropriate signals and traffic control equipment
- Communicate with drivers, pedestrians, and construction crews to maintain safe traffic flow
- Monitor and maintain traffic control devices, signage, and barriers as required
- Follow all site-specific traffic control plans and workplace health and safety procedures
- Remain alert and respond appropriately to changing traffic and construction conditions

Note: Duties may vary slightly based on construction site and operational requirements,



with specific guidance provided during site orientation.

Experience:

- Previous traffic control or construction experience is an asset but not required
- Completed Traffic Control course (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures carefully
- Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in active work zones
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic
