Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwright to join our dynamic team in the Lower Mainland region. As a key player in industrial maintenance and manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery and equipment across our facilities. Your expertise in mechanical systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting will ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that keep our operations running smoothly while advancing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Install, align, dismantle, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using analysis skills and diagnostic tools
- Operate and interpret programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management
- Perform welding, boiler maintenance, HVAC repairs, and low voltage electrical work as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate repairs and installations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities




- Collaborate with industrial electricians on electrical system upgrades or repairs to ensure seamless integration of new components
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and internal clients regarding maintenance status or issues

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Millwright or industrial maintenance technician within manufacturing or similar industrial settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience, including low voltage systems
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting automation controls
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and documentation
- Skilled in welding techniques, boiler maintenance, HVAC systems, and general mechanical repairs
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and safety standards such as OSHA regulations
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues efficiently
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively document work and collaborate with team members
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
