Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with Indigenous communities.
- Demonstrated dedication to teaching, learning, and student success.
- Knowledge of the uranium mining industry would be a solid advantage.
- A degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field would be an asset or teaching certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area with adult learners.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in preparing and delivering courses/lessons using diverse teaching strategies that cater to the needs of adult learners.
- Advanced proficiency in digital competencies such as Microsoft Suite, video gaming, etc.
Requirements:
- Experience in educational roles.
- Experience in mining, technical and support services.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, community partners, and
- industry professionals.
- Personal Qualifications:
- Passion for education and a commitment to nurturing the growth of individuals joining the
- uranium mining industry.
- Canadian residency (Saskatchewan preferred).
- Permanent legal Canadian working status.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to remote locations across Northwest Saskatchewan.
- Reliable vehicle.
