Join our agile retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive engaging shopping experiences. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products, provides expert advice and ensures our store remains organized and inviting. Whether assisting in-store or supporting online orders through e-commerce platforms, you'll play a vital part in creating a vibrant shopping environment that keeps customers coming back. This paid position offers opportunities for growth and skill development in retail sales, merchandising, and customer service. Candidate must have previous experience in the fashion sector, prefererably working in women’s wear. Bonus points if you have knowledge of vintage and designer fashion brands!

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance.
- Operate point of sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Assist customers with product selection, offering expert advice on specific customer needs and e-commerce orders.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Support inventory management by organizing stock, restocking shelves, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly and resolving any issues efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members.




- Keep the store clean and organized to promote safety and a positive shopping experience.

Skills

- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to connect with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering processes.
- Experience or interest in fashion, vintage clothing history and fashion styling.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation standards. Strong computer skills are a must Including familiarity with social media platforms, e-commerce and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with vintage and designer clothing, sustainable shopping practices and contemporary fashion trends.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms for supporting online sales channels.
- Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
